American Water Solution Showcased on Capitol Hill

MIAMI, FLORIDA, UNITED STATES, August 1, 2022 / – On Tuesday, July 26, 2022, RussKap Water, LLC, held an educational demonstration of their Atmospheric Water Generation (AWG) units on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. The company displayed the remarkable abilities of their AWG units as they generated clean and toxin-free drinking water from the moisture in the surrounding air (requiring no raw water source or any infrastructure).

Attendants at the event included members of Congress, representatives of Congressional offices, locals, and industry leaders in the fields of water, wastewater, environmental protection, and sustainability.

Ed Russo, CEO of RussKap Water, said, “This showcase, which included members and staffers on both sides of Congress, made clear that Washington is starting to recognize the problems caused by droughts and contaminated drinking water and the need for a solution. House representative of South Florida, Carlos Giménez, whose office assisted in this demonstration, was quoted saying, “It is time for us to understand that there are innovative and viable solutions for clean and toxin-free drinking water.”

Drinking water sourcing has recently become a center focus for countries around the world as groundwater supplies are shrinking and reservoirs are often being outright abandoned due to contamination. Within the U.S., numerous states have already begun rationing their water supply, and countless cities are struggling to meet drinking water safety standards with unsafe levels of PFAS, lead, arsenic, and other contaminants in the public water supply. These issues are longstanding and well-documented, and the demand for urgent solutions is increasing rapidly. Until now, the only response to this evolving crisis has been emergency provisions of single-use bottled drinking water - but this is only a temporary solution at best and the enormous build up of plastic waste is a serious environmental concern.

A Congressman from Texas, who's state recently dealt with drinking water shortages commented saying, “As you drive down roads in Texas it’s hard to miss the plastic pollution resulting from the increased reliance on single-use plastic water bottles. Atmospheric water generation may provide a better alternative to bottled water as a solution for clean drinking water needs, and it’s important for members of Congress to see and understand the technology.
